Bottom Line? I would recommend this to anyone wanting a powerful PC with great portability.
Unless your majoring in software engineering or something that requires a lot if horse-power, this is the perfect tiny PC for school. I use mine in nursing school for notes and recording lectures. I strongly recommend the version with the extended battery life, so your not doomed to always sit near a plug in. I am getting 5 hours from my battery easily, and that is while running Cool Edit Pro to record lectures. It's a very nice little computer. The tiny touch-pad takes some getting use to, and I find the slightly smaller keyboard actually fits my hand size better than regular size. So I find it easy to type on. Plus it's cool to have others drueling over my cute little PC. Lack of a CDROM drive is not a problem, as you can boot from the USB if needed (i.e. to reinstall the OS). It can be gotten with Linux, and I love that, but if you don't know Linux and want one for school, get the Windows XP version. Unless you have spare time to learn Linux. Linux is great, but by default, Linux does not play well with others.
