After a return of the first Aspire One to Amazon (hard drive didn't make it through the initial XP boot up routine and was not recognized when going into safe mode on startup), which was a painless experience, I received number two.
I am impressed with the AA1. Only downside I can come up with is the loading of software. Without a CD/DVD drive it is a little cumbersome but I have been copying program CDs to SD cards and loading them that way. To date, no install problems.
I did delete most of the preinstalled, but buy it later, software.
This little bugger rocks when I hook it up to my Samsung 32" LCD TV.
