Ok, first off the new improved 6 cell battery really makes a difference. The design is a very nice, compact stripped down laptop.
Pros: Small design, super long battery life (5+ hours), attractive casing, fast enough processing for internet surfing
Cons: Keyboard is completely cramped, no optical drive of any kind, minimal connections, monitor resolution is very low and the picture is not vivid by any stretch. Also, the screen is 8.9" and it's very hard to get adjusted to. In fact, I never got adjusted to it. To be fair, you can't have a 15" monitor on a compact laptop with 5 hours of battery life so there must be concessions made.
A couple things based on my experience with the laptop. 1) After 1 month the screen started flashing pink colors every time the hard drive would be running. This mostly occurred when surfing the internet. 2)The networking device is set for power saving mode which means that it is deathly slow. To get the laptop up to speed you have to go into the power setting of the wireless card and disable power saving.
Overall, if you want a very simple netbook for just surfing the net and for portability this is your laptop. If you need something for anything else, please search for something with a little less battery life and a little more power.
