I've had my Acer Aspire One Netbook for about a month now. I bought it as my second computer for traveling and working in the fields. The portability is awesome. The 6 cell battery is great. The wireless connection is very fast compared to my Sony Vaio notebook computer. The keyboard takes some getting used to but not bad at all. The touchpad is a bit sticky but not too horrible.
One downside of the netbook for me was that I could not install some softwares because they require bigger than 1024x600 pixel for display. Some online TV viewing could not be done also for the same reason. But even the 10inch netbook is set for 1024x600 pixel so I'd have the same problem.
Even with 6 cell battery, it only weighs well under 3 pounds. It is certainly portable and light for traveling. Get more detail about Acer Aspire One AOA150-1126 8.9-Inch Netbook - White.
