I am almost sorry I bought it. It is small. I know I knew the size when I bought it and like you, I thought that was the attractive part of the computer, but.... after a few sessions I am really tired of squinting.
I have started using a monitor at home in order to enjoy it more. The problem with that is, it takes away from the reason to buy the small computer in the first place.
As for the computer? It works as promised. I bought the upgrade model with the bigger hard drive (worthless i think) and the bigger battery (which is a good thing.)
The battery alone is one hundred dollars by itself, but only fifty at purchase and you get the forty extra gig. I am glad I made the choice for the bigger battery for those extended sessions at Starbucks and Barnes and Noble. I wish for a little more RAM, but where does the wishing end??? I'll tell you right back where I started, whith my 17 inch Toshiba....
Overall... If you truely "realize" just how small 8.9 inches really is it is an ok computer for the buck.Get more detail about Acer Aspire One AOA150-1126 8.9-Inch Netbook - White.
