I got this computer for my 13 year old. It is a decent system if you are looking for mobility or just cuteness factor (which were important factors in my purchase). However, for the price you can get a better system for power and capabilities. For example, this computer does not have an optical drive (e.g., a CD or DVD drive). That means that all software that we have installed has been via download or USB key. I have had a couple of problems with the wireless card. It has stopped working all together twice, but both times uninstalling the driver and letting the system re-install the driver fixed the problem. There was also a problem with the motherboard right out of the box (system would not power on). I had to send it in to Acer for repair. Acer was very easy to work with and the problem was fixed quickly so that I could give the computer to my kid for Christmas. I was annoyed that the computer failed right our of the box, but Acer was so easy to work with that it really wasn't that big a deal (other than costing an extra $20 to ship the system back to Acer). Overall, I give it 4 stars because my kid loves it and has gotten a lot of homework done on it, but not 5 stars since not having an optical drive is a bit of a pain and the failure right out of the box. Also, be aware that for adults, the keyboard may be tough to use. It is noticeably smaller than a standard keyboard. But, if you are looking for portability, it is hard to beat. This system is TINY.Get more detail about Acer Aspire One AOA150-1126 8.9-Inch Netbook - White.
