I'm 64 years old, and with my new glasses, I've had no problems seeing the incredibly sharp screen. This thing is fast and has worked perfectly. The 5.5 hour usage is at least that. Have used it in one stint mostly web browsing for 5 hours and it indicated yet 45 minutes. I did have some initial problem adjusting to the smaller key size but conquered that promptly. It does not seem to get hot or even warm, and I've not noticed any high pitched buzz that others have noted. It is a fingerprint magnet but it is easy to accept that.
