I was worried the screen size would hurt my eyes. You actually get used to it very quickly and the size becomes normal for you. I was actually very surprised this machine can load and play games (I have downloaded several games 10 - 100 MB) with no problem at all. Spending the few x-tra bucks on the 1 GB RAM probably made a difference here. There are sometimes online glitches. For example, sometimes the Explorer screen wigs out and the image gets really big (the g in google fills the whole screan) or really small (the whole webpage goes into one square inch in the upper left corner). Also, sometimes the internet takes awhile to load. Seems to occur mostly when surfing to a new page which has to load. It's like it bogs down for no reason... even with a very strong signal. All this is pretty weird, but only happens every so often. Closing Explorer and starting over has always solved it. The battery is awesome. My son played video games on two flights with a layover (cheap babysitter... bad parent).
I shopped a lot before buying. This looked like the best speed, memory, and battery for your buck in a netbook. It has become me and my son's favorite technology/media in the house.Get more detail about Acer Aspire One AOA150-1126 8.9-Inch Netbook - White.
