I was looking for a substitute for my Lenovo Thinkpad X60 because I use my desktop for gaming, and I like to surf the web and email/IM on a laptop while I'm watching TV, and the Acer Aspire One ended up being an amazing purchase! The entire netbook is high quality from the piano gloss finish to the case to the incredibly bright and vibrant LCD screen. The keys feel nice and tactile, they don't feel cheap at all. Once you adjust the touch pad more on the light touch side it works effortlessly and everything on Windows XP runs zippy with a gig of ram and the new Intel Atom processor. So far I cant even tell the difference between this and the Thinkpad besides the obvious size difference. The 6 cell battery is definitely worth the extra $50, you won't be disappointed. Fan noise is not as bad as I've read in other reviews, there's nothing negative I can think about this product.
